Do I Need to Use DDU When Upgrading My Graphics Card?

I'm planning to upgrade my graphics card from an RX 6600 to an RX 9070 XT. I've seen mixed opinions on whether I should use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) for this switch. Any tips or advice on the best approach for this upgrade would be super helpful!

Since both cards use the same driver, you can just plug in the new RX 9070 XT and give Windows a few minutes to detect it. Should be pretty straightforward!

I just upgraded from a 6800 XT to an RX 9070 XT without any issues. I just installed the new card and everything worked right away!

You don't necessarily need DDU, but it's a good idea to use it. If you're not using DDU this time, make sure to consider doing a clean installation the next time you update the drivers.
