I'm planning to buy a couple of 16GB RAM modules and I've come across the terms 'multi-rank' and 'single-rank'. I've heard that multi-rank might offer better performance. However, if the RAM is rated for 6000MHz, it should run at that speed regardless of whether it's single or multi-rank, right? Is there a way to determine if the RAM sticks are single or multi-rank online, especially since I don't have them yet?

You shouldn't stress too much about it! With DDR5, things are generally smoother than with DDR3. Back in the DDR3 days, I often had trouble getting a set to work since I needed dual-rank DIMMs. As long as you get a decent set rated at 6000MHz, you should be just fine!
