I'm about to build my first PC, and I'm considering the AMD 7800X3D processor. Should I invest in a warranty for it? I'm planning to use this PC for several years, and I'm also curious if $390 is a fair price for the 7800X3D.

You don't need to worry about a separate warranty for your CPU since it already comes with a three-year warranty from AMD if you buy it retail. Generally, if your CPU makes it past the first year without failing, there's a good chance it will last for a long time. Extra warranties often aren't worth it.
