I'm building my first gaming PC, and everywhere I look, people are saying to skip the HDD and go for an SSD because they're faster. However, I'm more concerned about storage space than speed. Do I really not need an HDD, or can I just get by with one 2TB SSD?

Most folks recommend SSDs because they're super affordable now. If you're only using one drive, an SSD is the way to go for a smoother experience. But HDDs still have their place for mass storage if you need it.

Totally agree! I've got a mix: a couple of 1TB SSDs for speed and a big 16TB HDD for everything else. It really helps when you've got a large game library and don’t want to re-download stuff.
