I've just started using the iPhone 17 and I've set my charging limit to 80% based on some recommendations I found online. I'm curious—does charging my phone to 80% instead of 100% really make a difference for battery health? It feels like I'm constantly monitoring my battery to avoid it draining too much, which is why I'm asking.

There's been some interesting testing done on this. A writer from MacRumors tested the charging limits on different iPhone models and shared her findings. You might want to check out her articles for more details!
Honestly, I just use my phone however I want. I charge it whenever it gets low—like 50% or so—and always plug it in to hit 100% every time. When the battery starts degrading, I'll just swap it out. No big deal!

Thanks for the info! I’m curious to see if the newer models show different results.
