I've been encountering a problem with Outlook Classic (Microsoft 365) since last Friday. Whenever I try to move emails from one shared mailbox to another, or even between different folders within the same shared mailbox, the emails get deleted instead of being moved. Copying works fine; it's just the moving that causes this issue. No rules are active that could be affecting this. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Are you sure about how you're moving the emails? Did you use a specific powershell command, or just drag and drop? You weren't very specific. Have you submitted a ticket to Microsoft for help?
I had the same problem today! Disabling cached mode for shared folders did the trick for me. You might want to give that a shot.
I just tried that with one of our users and it worked perfectly! Thanks for the tip!
I just tested your situation and couldn’t replicate the problem at all. I’m on Outlook for Microsoft 365 (Version 2505, 32-bit), which we have to use due to an add-on compatibility issue.
Sorry for not being clear! We’re having this issue in the Outlook Classic client, and it happens when users right-click to move or drag and drop emails to different folders. We reported it to Microsoft a couple of days ago but haven’t heard back.
