Experiencing Black Screen After Reboot on My New PC – What’s Going On?

I've recently built my own computer, and I'm encountering a frustrating issue where it occasionally goes to a black screen when I try to reboot. My specs are a 9950x3d CPU, an Asus 5080 Astral graphics card, 64GB of Corsair RAM, an Asus ROG Strix 1000W PSU, and an Asus X870E-E motherboard. I can run games without any problems, and there are no crashes while gaming, but when I reboot, it sometimes just stays black without responding. The keyboard and mouse don't light up, and the monitor shows no display. This requires a force shutdown and restart to get it back up and running. I'm not sure if this is an issue with my Nvidia card or something else entirely. Any suggestions on how to resolve this or what might be causing it?

If you're not sure how to check for a BIOS update, it’s pretty simple! Just go to the ASUS website, search for your motherboard model, and look for the 'Downloads' section. There, you should see any available updates along with instructions on how to install them. Don’t worry, everyone starts somewhere!

This could be related to a few things, but a good first step is to check if there's a BIOS update available for your motherboard. Sometimes these updates fix bugs and improve compatibility with new hardware. Generally, you can find BIOS updates on the manufacturer's website under the support section for your motherboard model.
