Hi everyone! Sorry if my English isn't great; it's not my first language. About three months ago, I upgraded to a new gaming PC from a gaming laptop, and since then, I've been battling random lag spikes with my ping. Most of the time, my ping is good on WiFi—around 20 ms in Warzone, 10-20 ms in CS2, and 1-2 ms in Fortnite. However, I keep experiencing these frustrating spikes for no apparent reason. My old laptop never had this issue; it always maintained a stable connection. Just to note, my motherboard doesn't have built-in WiFi, but I'm using a TP-Link TX20E. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Did you make sure to connect the antennas that came with your TP-Link? They can really help improve your WiFi signal and might reduce those lag spikes.
Using a wired connection is the best way to go, especially for gaming. WiFi can be really unstable because of various interferences, like other devices, appliances, or even environmental factors. If possible, I’d recommend considering Ethernet for a more reliable connection!
I would, but it's not an option for me. On my laptop, I never had this problem with spikes—literally never!
Have you tried updating your network drivers? Sometimes having outdated drivers can cause connectivity issues, and that might be leading to your lag spikes.
Just so you know, my motherboard doesn’t have WiFi capabilities.
Yes, I did connect them!
