Hey everyone! I recently picked up a Zotac Trinity 3090 and ran a Timespy benchmark, but the results were quite disappointing. Here's a link to the benchmark results: [imgur](https://imgur.com/a/BAdljFS) and here's the full stats: [3DMark](http://www.3dmark.com/spy/58008446). Do you have any suggestions on what might be going wrong? Thanks in advance!

Have you noticed any issues playing games, or is it just the benchmark performance that feels off?
Your GPU hotspot is twice the temperature of your GPU, which is a serious problem. You should stop using it and replace the thermal pads immediately! It's likely the previous owner used the wrong thickness for the pads, which prevents proper contact with the GPU die. I suggest using thermal putty instead of pads this time.
Thanks for the tip! Any chance you could recommend some tutorials on how to do the thermal pad replacement? I’d really appreciate it!
Check your temperatures and see if your CPU might be a bottleneck. Those are two different issues, so make sure you're looking at both.
My CPU usage is around 5-6% while the GPU is at 100%. GPU-Z indicates my performance is capped due to thermal issues, so it seems like the hot temps are the culprit.
It seems like you're bottlenecked by a weaker Threadripper CPU.
I've checked and it doesn't seem like the CPU is bottlenecking the GPU in any way; the temperatures seem to be the real issue.
You definitely need to replace the thermal paste and pads. That high hotspot temperature is likely causing your GPU to downclock itself to avoid damage.
I did see that GPU-Z shows the performance cap reason is thermal. Looks like I'll need to repaste the GPU and replace the pads while I’m at it.
According to my benchmarks, the performance was below average, and my hotspot temp was hitting 104.9. The games I tried were running better than my old 1080ti, but obviously, that's expected.
