Experiencing Major FPS Drops After Motherboard Change – Need Help!

Hi everyone! I've been dealing with a frustrating issue with my PC for about a week now since I changed my motherboard. Here's my setup: I use a Ryzen 7 7800x3D, a 4070 Super graphics card, 32 GB of DDR5 6000 MHz RAM, a B650e Elite X-AX White Motherboard, and a Gigabyte 750W 80+ Gold Power Supply. Since the motherboard swap, I'm encountering significant FPS drops and micro-stuttering in games. For instance, in Call of Duty, my FPS can drop from 250-260 to around 40-45 during intense moments like killstreaks or explosions, and it takes a few seconds to stabilize again. I did test it on BF6, and while it was playable, it wasn't smooth at all. My old motherboard consistently gave me a stable 250 FPS without issues. I've tried reinstalling Windows, updating all my drivers, and diagnostics came back normal. I'm really at my wit's end here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Have you updated your BIOS? That's crucial for AMD systems, especially after a motherboard change. Make sure to check if you have the latest version installed for optimal performance.

Thanks for the tip! I’m currently on BIOS version F39 and tested F40, but I rolled back since it was just released. Should I go back to F40 anyway?
