Hey everyone! I've been facing a frustrating issue with my PC for a while now, and I'm hoping to get some help. Basically, whenever I'm playing games, I notice random drops in my FPS—sometimes it plummets from around 90 to as low as 10. This happens in most games I try. I keep my system updated and have recently installed a new BIOS, but there hasn't been any improvement. My setup includes an Intel 12600k processor, 32GB of RAM, a 4060ti graphics card, and I'm using SSDs for storage. I have a TUF B760 Plus motherboard and a Bequiet Dark Rock 4 cooler. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot.

Man, that sounds really annoying. Sometimes the problem is with the game itself, not your setup. If it’s consistent across so many games, it might be worth checking your GPU and CPU temps to see if they're overheating, or maybe look into your power settings to ensure everything's optimized for gaming.
Does this FPS drop occur in all your games, or just specific ones? It might just be some titles that need optimization or have bugs. If you haven’t already, I’d suggest disabling the FPS counter while you play just to enjoy the game without the distraction of fluctuating numbers.
I've noticed it happens in most games. For example, I just tried Sea of Thieves, and the FPS was fluctuating wildly—starting at 90, dropping to 10, then back up again. The worst drop was in NFS Unbound, where it would freeze for half a second now and then.

Yeah, that makes sense. I’ll keep an eye on my temps and check those settings. Thanks for the tip!
