Experiencing Stuttering in Games on My Laptop

I've been playing on my laptop and recently revisited the game Hunt Showdown, only to encounter some annoying stuttering issues. This is the first time I've faced this problem; usually, my games run smoothly. It seems like every five seconds or so, the gameplay stutters, while other games are fine. I've gone through quite a few troubleshooting steps already, including reinstalling Windows, updating all my drivers, using Process Lasso to manage CPU usage, enabling V-Sync, updating the BIOS, and optimizing settings with ParkControl for the best performance. I've also disabled all background processes and uninstalled unnecessary apps, along with disabling overlays. Additionally, I've installed the latest chipset driver. Here are my specs: NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU 6GB, 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12450H (2.00 GHz), 16GB RAM DDR5 4800MHz. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Sounds like you might be dealing with thermal throttling issues. You should check your CPU and GPU temperatures while you're gaming. If they're reaching high levels (90-97 for the CPU and 85-90 for the GPU), that could definitely be impacting your performance. You might want to consider adjusting some power management settings, like turning off turbo mode if that's pushing your temps too high.

Actually, it seems like you’re posting in the wrong place. There are more dedicated communities for gaming laptops where you can find better help, like checking out forums focused on that.
