Hey everyone, I just built a new PC with the following specs: Ryzen 5 7500F, 32 GB DDR5 RAM at 5200 MHz, RTX 4070, and an M.2 WD Black SSD, all on a Gigabyte B650i AX motherboard. Despite my decent setup, I'm experiencing some frustrating stutters while gaming. I've been monitoring my FPS with Afterburner, and my 1% low FPS is between 1 and 6 across all games, which is really unplayable. My average FPS is decent, around 60-80 depending on the game, but in Fortnite, the stutters are especially frequent. For temperatures, my GPU hits a max of 80°C and my CPU goes up to 65°C. I've tried changing the graphics card, turning off fullscreen compatibility, enabling XMP, reinstalling the operating system, and adjusting in-game settings, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any advice? Also, apologies for my English, I'm from Germany!

What games are you playing? It might help to know if it’s just certain titles causing the issues or if it's all games.
Make sure you’ve installed all the necessary drivers, like the chipset and GPU drivers. Sometimes that makes a big difference!
I have downloaded all drivers from the Gigabyte, AMD, and NVIDIA websites.
Could it be an issue with your CPU? If you bought it used, it might be worth checking its performance or doing a stress test on it.
Are you using an SSD? I remember having issues like that before switching to an SSD for my games.
Yes, I have an M.2 SSD, a WD Black SN7100 with 1 TB.
I heard that monitoring your wattage with MSI Afterburner or something similar can really hurt your 1% lows. You might want to try turning that off and see if it helps.

I'm playing Fortnite, Warhammer 40k, Cyberpunk, and some RTS games.
