Feedback on My PC Build: Am I on the Right Track?

I'm in the process of building a PC and I've done quite a bit of research. Below is my parts list for the build:

I have some minimum requirements I'd like to meet:
1. The PC should be able to run games at 60+ fps at 1440p and 120+ fps at 1080p.
2. The total cost, including peripherals, should stay under $2000.

I'm considering buying the RAM and CPU used. Right now, I'm deciding between the 7600x and the 9600x, as I found a 9600x for $195 AUD on another site, which seems like a good deal. I'm also looking for monitor recommendations under $300 AUD that have a good look and a high refresh rate. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you have a solid plan! Just a heads up, since you’re aiming for 1440p gaming at 60+ fps, you might want to consider a stronger GPU if you haven’t already. And for that price range on the monitor, the AOC or BenQ monitors are nice with good refresh rates. Let us know how it goes!

Hey! It looks like your parts list isn't currently accessible, but I understand you’re looking to build a solid gaming PC. For the CPU, both the 7600x and 9600x are great options; just be sure to check the compatibility with your motherboard. As for the monitor, you might want to look into brands like Acer or Dell, which often have good 144Hz options within your budget. Good luck with your build!
