I recently took the AZ-104 test and I'm really disappointed with my experience. I studied using Microsoft's guided learning materials, watched all the videos, and took practice tests multiple times until I felt confident. However, when I actually sat for the exam, I found the questions were extremely long, with 5 to 10 paragraphs each, and I just couldn't keep up. I only made it halfway through and I'm not sure if I want to try again. If I decide to, I think I might need an online course to have any chance of passing. Has anyone else felt this way? What are your suggestions for preparing better?

Just a heads up: I found the AZ-104 pretty challenging too. I even took it after an extensive background in IT and still struggled with the depth of knowledge they expect. You really can't just go by the study guides; practical experience is essential. If you haven't already, make sure to practice with the recommended resources!
You really should check out Boson AZ-104 practice exams. They’re significantly tougher than typical practice tests and come with detailed explanations for every answer. If you can consistently score around 85% on those, you'll be in a good spot. Also, consider the LinkedIn Learning AZ-104 course — it’s pretty solid!
Can you share a link to the Boson tests? Thanks!
I passed both the AZ-104 and AZ-305 by focusing heavily on hands-on practice with a free Azure account. Experimenting with the portal really helped me understand the features better, leading to a much easier exam experience!
AZ-104 is definitely a tough nut to crack, even for experienced IT professionals. If you didn't have hands-on Azure experience, it's crucial! Make sure to do all the labs Microsoft provides on GitHub. Learning from those exercises is key—understand everything you do, and if you're confused, don't hesitate to ask for help!
I feel you! After passing the CISSP, I found the AZ-104 way more challenging. It's a different level of detail needed.
I had there were a lot of tricky questions, too. I ended up passing after a retake with less prep.
For anyone tackling the AZ-104, you really need both real-world experience and a lot of practice tests under your belt. The exam covers so many details that it's easy to miss things if you rely solely on study material. And believe me, if you’re not well-versed in Azure, those big case study questions will trip you up!
It took me several tries too! Each time I gained valuable insights, and the exam feels a lot less intimidating after you know what to expect.
Agreed! First attempts are always about learning the ropes. It's all about gaining experience!
When was the last time you used the Boson tests? I’ve seen mixed reviews lately and I’m curious about how effective they still are.
