Feeling Stuck as a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer, Need Advice

Hey everyone! I've been working in DevOps for about 2 years and have around 3 years total in the tech industry. Right now, I'm at a well-respected company in Cyprus, but I'm starting to feel frustrated because I'm having a tough time making a career switch. Despite having two AWS certifications and the CKA, as well as a nearly perfect CV that's great for ATS, I keep running into roadblocks. I've done over 15 interviews this year and made it to final stages with big names like AWS and Exness, but somehow, I'm always passed over for someone with more experience or the positions get filled internally. I'm really motivated and give my best in interviews, but I could use some tips on how to break through this barrier. Any advice?

It sounds like you're doing everything right, but sometimes the seniority gap can be tough to bridge. You might be facing challenges because some roles genuinely require a bit more experience. Have you thought about aiming for a senior position within your current company? They already know your skills, which could make the transition easier for both you and them.

Thanks for the insight! I want to switch by the end of the year as a personal goal. My current job is great, but after two years, I feel like I've learned most of what I can. Let's see where the journey takes me!
