Hey everyone! I'm a 23-year-old who's trying to find my footing as a developer. Even though I've been learning a lot through tutorials and building little projects, I'm starting to feel really stuck. It's discouraging to see other developers with impressive portfolios and progress, while I feel like I'm not moving forward. I'm working with just my setup and free resources online since I can't afford bootcamps or expensive courses. My ultimate goal is to become a senior developer, but right now the pressure and self-doubt are overwhelming. I know time is on my side, but I could really use some advice on how to push through this mental block and finally start seeing some real progress. Has anyone else experienced this feeling? What helped you move forward?

It’s easy to feel behind, especially when comparing yourself to others online. The truth is, there will always be someone better, but there are also people who are just starting out like you. Focus on your growth instead of looking at others. Becoming a senior developer takes time, and first, you need to start with a junior position. Just get a job and gain some real-world experience!
Consider picking up a programming book to complement your learning. Books let you learn at your own pace and often provide exercises to help reinforce what you’ve learned. Plus, there are plenty of free books available online or cheap second-hand options. They can really help solidify your understanding as you progress.
