I'm excited to order my first iPad today! It's the A16 model in Pink with 128GB of storage. The last iPad I used was my dad's old one from 2015, so this feels like a big upgrade. I've come across a lot of posts about battery anxiety regarding iPhones, and I'm curious if that applies to iPads too. I'm worried about not damaging the battery—what are some good charging practices I should follow? Also, I've heard mixed reviews about the latest iOS version; how might that impact my experience when I get my iPad tomorrow? Any suggestions for great apps or games would also be appreciated!

Honestly, don’t stress about the battery or the iOS version. Just use your iPad naturally, and avoid keeping it plugged in all the time or fully draining it. As for iOS 26, it's not bad at all—don't let rumors get to you!
Don't sweat it about the battery. iOS does a great job managing it, and you won't need to micromanage your charging. Just enjoy your new pink gadget! Oh, and if you're into drawing, a third-party Apple Pencil could be a fun addition!

Great advice! Just relax and use it however you like. No need to follow every online caution,
