Fixing Stutter Issues with Dual Monitors

I've got a setup with a 2k 200 Hz monitor as my main display and a 1080p 144 Hz monitor that I've set to 60 Hz. While browsing or watching YouTube, I notice a lot of stuttering, almost like frame drops, which is pretty annoying. I've got hardware acceleration off in my browser, and I'm not sure what else to try. My GPU is an RTX 5060 TI with 16GB of memory, and despite looking into this issue for a while, including using AI tools for help, the consensus seems to be that the difference in refresh rates between my monitors is the culprit. Gaming seems fine, though, so I'm hoping there's a solution to improve my browsing experience. Is there anything I can do to alleviate this problem?

It sounds like your 60 Hz monitor is the main issue here. When you're using monitors with such drastically different refresh rates, it can lead to stuttering especially on the lower refresh rate. Try bumping your 1080p monitor up to 144 Hz instead—it should make scrolling and general use feel a lot smoother. Also, make sure to turn on hardware acceleration in your browser; it really helps with rendering and can reduce the workload on your CPU.

I just did that and wow, it actually made a difference! I was surprised to see so many people suggesting to turn hardware acceleration off.
