FPS Drops During Gameplay: How Can I Fix This?

I'm facing some frustrating FPS issues while gaming. My FPS usually sits at 144, but during intense moments, like fights, it drops down to 88, making it really hard to enjoy the game. My friends think my system might be bottlenecked. Here's what I'm working with:
- Motherboard: a520m-plus2
- RAM: 4x8 Kingston Fury
- Processor: Ryzen 7 5700G
- Graphics Card: GTX 1650 4GB
- SSD: 1TB
- Power Supply: Nox Urano 650W
Any advice on how to improve this would be greatly appreciated!

What games are you playing? The Ryzen 7 5700G is one of the slower CPUs in the Ryzen 5000 lineup, and the GTX 1650 is pretty low-end. It sounds like you might be running into limitations with either your CPU or GPU, especially in more demanding games.

I'm playing League of Legends mostly. In other games like Valorant and Rocket League, I maintain 144 FPS without drops.

You might want to consider upgrading your CPU. The Ryzen 7 5700G is decent, but in demanding situations, it might not keep up. An upgrade could help alleviate those FPS drops during tough gameplay.

Ugh, I just bought this CPU though...
