I'm on the lookout for free digital signage solutions that work with Linux. Ideally, I'd like something that can run a slideshow from a network share and also stream a radio (RTMP). I'm also considering building one with a Raspberry Pi, but I'm unsure about the reliability. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I've come across a couple of options that might meet your needs: check out Screenly Anthias and pisignage on GitHub. Both should handle RTMP streams, although you might need to do a bit of HTML and JavaScript tweaking to get everything working perfectly.
