I'm trying to get my PS5 to output at 120Hz on my MSI MAG 27" FHD Curved Rapid VA Gaming Monitor. I've enabled performance mode on the console and adjusted my monitor settings, but it still only shows 60Hz. Can anyone help me figure out why it's not working?

Running 4K at 120Hz on a 1080p monitor seems a bit off. You're likely stuck at 60Hz because your HDMI cable isn't 2.1. Without it, you won’t have the bandwidth needed for 4K at 120Hz. Just a heads up, if you want that performance, you might need a new monitor with HDMI 2.1 support.
Just a thought, but is your PS5 supposed to output 120fps? It can do that if you have the right setup. Since your monitor claims to support up to 180Hz, you should be able to get more out of it, but you'll need the right connections.
What kind of HDMI cable are you using? It’s worth checking because some cables can really limit your refresh rates. If it’s not rated for higher speeds, you might need an upgrade!
