Getting 404 Errors When Accessing SharePoint Online Documents

I'm dealing with a frustrating issue in SharePoint Online where one user, who is on MacOS, frequently encounters 404 errors when trying to open certain documents. It seems like she can access other files on the same site without any problems. The only fix we've found is to clear all browser cache, which she has to do about every 2-3 days.

Initially, I assumed the problem was just corrupt cache data, but since it keeps recurring, I'm starting to think there's more to it. She also tried using Edge, but the same error showed up until she cleared the cache again. I tested the URL in Edge while the cache was still un-cleared, and it resulted in a 404 too, suggesting something might be wrong with how the link is being processed when she clicks it. Has anyone experienced this issue or know how to fix it?

This sounds like it could be related to a UPN issue. We faced similar 404 errors after we switched our team to the correct UPN. Shared links ended up broken too, and it took a while to sort out. Maybe once her account was migrated, something got misconfigured? That's definitely a common hiccup during migrations.

Interesting to note. We also transitioned from Google Workspace a month back, and that involved changing users from the default Google domain to our tenant domain. It makes me wonder if something didn't fully catch up with her account. The intermittent nature of the issue is really puzzling.
