Getting Help for My First PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building my first PC, mainly for playing AAA games with expansive open worlds. I'd love to run these games at 1440p or even 4K while maintaining good FPS. I've already checked the compatibility of the parts, and everything looks good so far. However, since I'm new to PC building, I'm looking for some opinions and advice.

I've been informed that the fans in my case aren't the best, so I plan to replace them with an Arctic P14 PWM PST and three Arctic P12 fans. I noticed one of the original fans is set to run in reverse, and I'm a bit uncertain if I should keep it that way or not.

I'm considering getting a new monitor too, since my current one is only 1080p. Any recommendations for a good monitor would be greatly appreciated!

I'm open to suggestions for other components. My current build costs €2082, but I'm willing to stretch to €2500 if necessary, although that would be pushing it a bit. Here's a link to my build on PCPartPicker: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zWw3Dj

Honestly, for €2500, you can snag a 5080 with a 9800X3D. Check this out: [link](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/HpYXQd). It’s a beast for gaming! Just keep in mind, that might be stretching your budget too much with a monitor upgrade as well.

Sounds tempting, but I think €2500 is too much for me. I want to get a new monitor, so adding that on is pushing it. I might consider the 9800X3D if I find it at a good price.

I wouldn’t go for anything higher than what you have. This setup is the best value for high-end gaming. Spending more won't yield significant performance boosts unless you jump up to a 5090. Also, are you sure you need the 850X? The 850e is about $30 cheaper with no loss in quality.

I heard the 850e has some noise issues. It seems like I’d have to send it back to the factory to get it fixed if it pops up.

You might want to look into getting lower latency memory; CL30 is often considered the sweet spot for the current gen stuff. Your build looks solid! If I were you, I’d stick to 1440p—it's a good balance of performance and quality without going full 4K.

Thanks, I’ll focus on that!

Here’s a potential build list I put together for you: [link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gJh9zP). It’s tailored for strong performance without going overboard on price. A few things you might want to consider:
- Go for some sweet spot RAM with CL30.
- The 5070 TI is a better value; don’t pay more for minuscule differences.
- I suggest a quieter power supply too. Total is around $1800, saving you a bit of cash!

Unfortunately, nothing you suggested is available at my local store, plus ordering parts from Amazon would end up costing me more.
