Hey everyone, I was in an online Xbox game when someone known for DDoSing joined my lobby and kicked me offline. I've tried a bunch of stuff to get back online: restarting my internet, contacting my ISP (they said they couldn't help), and even rebooting my modem. It's been almost 5 hours, and I'm still offline. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

Just so you know, unplugging the modem doesn’t always guarantee you'll get a new public IP. Sometimes, ISPs hold on to the same IP, especially if you're on a dynamic IP system. You might want to look into other options like using a VPN or contacting your ISP again for additional support.
If your modem's been off for a while and you're not getting back online, one method to try is unplugging your modem for a minute and then plugging it back in. This can sometimes give you a new IP address, which might help you get back online.
