GPU Upgrade Troubles: CPU Light On and Fans Not Working

Hey everyone! I recently swapped out my old Radeon 7900 xtx for a new Astral 5090, but now I'm facing some issues. The red CPU light on my motherboard is lit up, and my 7 Lian Li fans are only barely turning on without any RGB lighting. I've double-checked all my connections, but nothing seems off. Has anyone experienced something similar and could share their insights?

Have you tried reseating the 24-pin power connector or the CPU power? Sometimes, a loose connection can cause these kinds of problems.

Just a heads-up, make sure your PSU is powerful enough for the 5090. I'm thinking you’ll want at least around 1000W for that GPU, but the 7900XTX could manage on an 850W, so you should be fine with your 1300W.

Yes, the Super Flower Leader III Gold is 1300 Watts.

First off, what power supply are you using? Sometimes the PSU can be the culprit behind these issues, especially after a big component upgrade like a GPU.

I'm using the Super Flower Leader III Gold 1300 Watts.
