Has Anyone Else Experienced Issues with OpenAI Memory and Support?

I've been having a frustrating experience with OpenAI's memory feature and support team. Ever since the early May rollout, my project folder system and memory access have completely stopped working. I can't retrieve old files or recall past data that I know is in the threads. I've reached out to support, but they haven't been responsive for over a month, and I'm feeling pretty ignored for what I paid for. If anyone else is dealing with similar issues, I'd love to hear your experiences.

Yes! I've been running into this too. Even when I keep my projects well-organized, the AI seems to totally miss information within them, leading to a lot of copy-pasting on my end. Make sure you're moving chats outside of projects! That sometimes helps with remembering past info, which honestly feels a bit broken right now. It's like the project folders lower the priority for indexing, which is a bummer considering how they were marketed!

Thanks for sharing your experience! It definitely feels like there's something off with how projects are functioning. I've noticed it starts getting worse after a couple of weeks, so moving stuff out might be the only workaround right now.

It sounds like you might want to check the memory settings in the ChatGPT interface under **Settings -> Personalization**. That's where you can see your saved memory, and it does seem to have a cap at around 100 blocks. What's your memory fill percentage? Maybe it's maxed out?

I've noticed similar issues. I think after reaching about 90% memory used, it started getting spotty. I've been manually clearing memory and using workarounds like summarizing past threads just to keep everything tidy, but even then, it still forgets things from earlier chats. Super frustrating!

Totally hear you. My research indicates that project memory was supposed to be independent, but I've had threads referencing details from different projects, which really shouldn't happen. There’s definitely some weirdness with the memory functionality lately.
