Has anyone tried Inloom power supplies? Are they reliable?

I recently came across a local reseller selling quite a few used 1000 watt power supplies. However, I couldn't find much information about the Inloom brand except for a few listings on a Chinese website and an old eBay page with no reviews. I know it's important not to skimp on a power supply, but these units seem well-maintained and are quite cheap. I'm curious if anyone has experience with Inloom and can vouch for their safety and reliability. Are there any red flags I should consider, or do they seem okay to use?

It’s likely more around 800W based on the design. An 1000W rating might be misleading! I also noticed it lacks enough PCI-E connectors; that’s a sign of an outdated and potentially low-quality PSU.

Always opt for PSUs with Japanese capacitors. They tend to be more reliable and less likely to fail. Just some advice to keep your builds safe!

Honestly, just because they look good doesn't mean they are safe. The rule is never to cheap out on power supplies. You're right to worry about fire hazards. I'd stick with known brands, especially for something as crucial as a PSU.

I bought a used EVGA G2 and it lasted me years. Just ensure it's a reputable brand if it's used.

I’ve never heard of Inloom either. If the price is too good to be true, it probably is. It’s usually a red flag when you can’t find reviews or any solid feedback on a product.

It’s a bad idea to cheap out on a PSU. Prioritize quality there instead of on cheaper components like drives or RAM!

Totally agree! There's a classic post about this that still holds true. Always invest in a solid power supply.
