I recently updated my system and have noticed that MS QuickAssist isn't allowing me to type in the UAC prompt for user and password. Can anyone else confirm if they're experiencing the same issue?

Really? People actually use QuickAssist? I just see it as a last resort for remote support.

It's actually pretty handy! It's free, built into Windows 10/11, easy to use with the shortcut Win+Ctrl+Q, and works well for basic remote assistance.

I've never managed to access the UAC prompt through QuickAssist either. It's been pretty problematic for me.

You might want to try disabling the GPO that says "Switch to the Secure Desktop when prompting for elevation". That could help.

I'm having the same issue too! For the past few days, I can see the UAC prompt, but I just can't type any admin credentials in the input boxes.
