I'm running into a problem while trying to install Windows 10. Once I reach the "Finishing Up" stage, I get an error message that says, "Windows could not prepare your computer to boot into the next phase of installation." I've attempted to format the disk as NTFS using both the command prompt and the format button, but neither method allows me to start the download on that drive. I've tried installing on both my SSD and hard drive, but I'm still stuck. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated!

Try this instead: don't format the disks at all. During the Windows setup, delete all partitions on the disk until you see "unpartitioned space," and then just hit next. Windows will set up everything it needs from there. Also, consider disconnecting your HDD at first to avoid confusion. You can always reconnect and format it later for storage.
Consider installing Windows 11 instead. Windows 10 support is wrapping up soon, and 11 might be a better long-term option for you.
I’m with you on that! I’m waiting to switch to 11 until I have no choice but to, since I really didn’t like it when I tried upgrading.
I have tried installing in unpartitioned space, and I still encountered the same issue. I haven't disconnected the other drive yet, but I'll definitely give that a shot!
