Having Trouble Booting Linux Mint from a USB Drive

Hey everyone! I'm trying to boot Linux Mint from a USB flash drive to replace Windows 11 on my Lenovo Yoga. I've followed the official instructions to verify the file and write it onto the drive, but when I try to select the drive in the BIOS, I encounter a message saying "EFI USB device boot failed" with no additional details. My BIOS version is NYCN68WW. I'm not sure what settings I need to change or if the USB itself might be the issue. Any tips on how to get this working?

It sounds like you're facing some common issues with USB booting. I recommend trying Rufus set to GPT mode. It usually works well even if Secure Boot is enabled!

I'll give Rufus a shot! I used Etcher before, but I heard it's not the best for Windows.
