Hey everyone! I'm running into some issues logging into my Microsoft Store account on Windows 10. When I try to log in, I get an error related to my internet connection, along with the error code 0x800704cf. I even had a friend try logging into my account from their PC, and they had no problems. I attempted using a VPN and several other methods to fix this, but nothing has worked so far. I heard there might be some system issues, but I'm not quite sure which ones. Any insights or advice would be incredibly helpful!

Are you by any chance using SonicWall VPN on your PC? Sometimes that can cause issues with network connectivity.
I did some quick searches about your error code and found several potential causes you might consider:
- **Network Configuration Issues**: Sometimes this can be due to incorrect IP settings, DNS problems, or issues with the TCP/IP stack.
- **Outdated Drivers**: Make sure your network drivers are up-to-date, as outdated drivers can lead to connectivity issues.
- **Third-party Software**: Check if any VPNs, proxy settings, or antivirus software might be interfering with your connection.
- **Account Issues**: There could be synchronization problems with your Microsoft account or issues with your user profile.
Good luck with it!
Thanks for the tips! I've tried a couple of those ideas already, but it still feels like something deeper with the system is off.
Have you tried going to Windows Settings, then Accounts? In the "Email & Accounts" section, and "Access Work or School," try disconnecting any accounts you see there. This will prompt you to log back in and could potentially clear up that error you’re facing.
I checked, but I don’t have any accounts listed there.
No, I’m not using that. Thanks for checking!
