I'm trying to run both a 5070 Ti and a 3070 GPU on the same machine, which has an MSI Z590 Pro Wi-Fi motherboard and an 11700K CPU. I also have a 1050W power supply. Whenever I install both GPUs, I see a DRAM error light on the motherboard. It seems like the second PCIe slot is causing the issue, as both GPUs work fine when I use only the first PCIe slot next to the CPU. Is there a BIOS setting I need to change to enable the second PCIe slot? I've checked compatibility on PC Part Picker and everything looks good. I'm also on Windows 11.

Sounds like you're trying to set up two GPUs for AI purposes, right? You really don’t need to mess with SLI for that. Just use one GPU if they're working fine separately. Also, are you sure that both GPUs are compatible with your setup? Just a thought!
Just a heads up, SLI support isn't really a thing anymore for most applications. If you're looking for increased VRAM for AI, it's generally better to go with a single powerful GPU rather than trying to link the two. Have you checked if your BIOS is updated? That might help with recognizing the second slot better.
Good tip! I'll check for BIOS updates and see how that goes. Thanks!
Yeah, SLI is mostly for gaming. For AI, more VRAM on one card is usually better. You might want to stick to just one GPU that has tons of VRAM instead.
