Hey everyone, I got my gaming PC a couple of months back, and it's been awesome so far! But I'm in a bit of a jam now. I've gone through and calculated the size of all my installed games and accounted for the launchers, but I'm still missing about 74GB of storage. More than half of that seems to be taken up by the Windows folder. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could recover at least 40GB of that space? Thanks a lot!

You should try using WinDirStat. It’s a great tool to visualize where your storage is going. A lot of times, the Windows folder, specifically the WinSxS folder, can take up a ton of space. You can find guides online on how to clean it up!
You could also consider disabling hibernation to get rid of the hibernation file; it can be as large as your RAM! Plus, if you enable Compact OS, it can help compress Windows and free up some space. Also, keep in mind if you have many small files, compressing those folders can save some room too!
I’ve heard good things about TreeSize too. It's quicker than WinDirStat, so you might want to give that a try if you’re looking for speed in finding those hidden spaces!
I'd recommend trying WizTree. It’s super fast and effective for checking your disk space usage. Also, don't forget to use the built-in Disk Cleanup tool in Windows to clear out temporary files!
What’s the name of that Windows cleanup tool? I could use something to clear out junk files.
Yeah, what’s that tool called? I haven't used it before.
How does it compare speed-wise to WizTree? Is it worth switching?
