Hey everyone, I need some advice. I pre-ordered an M4 MacBook Air, used it for about a week, and decided it wasn't for me. I returned it in mint condition, took pictures of the packaging, and sent it back using the shipping label provided by Apple. A few weeks later, I still hadn't received my refund, so I reached out to Apple Support. They assured me they would look into it. Then, I got an email saying the product description didn't match what they received. I provided further details and photos, but they denied my refund completely. After appealing, I got no updates, and when I contacted them again, they informed me my appeal was denied, and I wouldn't get a refund, a replacement, or even my returned item back. I've requested a chargeback through my bank since I used a debit card, but I'm unsure about what else I can do. Any suggestions?

Just a heads up, if that chargeback goes through, your Apple account might be terminated, which could be a bummer if you want to keep using any devices tied to that account. Did Apple give you any other options when you appealed?
I totally get your frustration! Honestly, with all the package thefts these days, it's hard to trust shipping an expensive item. If you haven't already, maybe send a direct email to Tim Cook or even local news outlets? They sometimes put pressure on companies like Apple to sort these things out quicker.
That's true! If your story gets enough traction, Apple might be more willing to resolve the issue. It’s like they forgot about customer care lately.
I doubt Apple is clueless about what arrives at their center. Have you checked what the courier, TNT, says about your shipment? They might have records that could help you.
Did you get a receipt from TNT when you returned it? I’ve heard stories about delivery mishaps and even insider job issues at repair centers. It’s nuts! Wish you the best in sorting this out.
Honestly, at this point, I care more about getting my money back than keeping the account. I feel like I’m being scammed. I just want to know if I can still use my devices or if they’ll lock me out completely.
