Help! BIOS Freeze and GPU Disabled After Upgrading to Ryzen 5700X3D

Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 3700X to a 5700X3D, and now I'm facing a couple of major issues. My graphics card (a Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT) is showing as disabled in Windows with a code 43 error. Plus, I've noticed that the BIOS freezes and becomes unresponsive on every reboot. Here's what my setup looks like:

- **Motherboard**: ASUS TUF B450-PLUS GAMING
- **BIOS version**: 4604
- **Processor**: Ryzen 5700X3D
- **Graphics card**: Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT
- **PSU**: Corsair RM850e
- **RAM**: 32GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance 3200MHz

When I first booted up after the new CPU installation, I got a message about the new CPU and fTPM/PSP NV corruption. I pressed 'Y' to reset the TPM, thinking I wasn't using BitLocker. After that, my GPU failed to load, and the second monitor isn't working. Device Manager shows an error saying Windows has stopped the device due to problems.

I've tried cleaning and reinstalling the GPU drivers, resetting the CMOS, and even restoring BIOS settings. I'm unsure about rolling back the BIOS or possibly reverting back to the old CPU just to see if it resolves the issues. Any help would be appreciated!

It sounds like a tricky situation! Rolling back the BIOS could potentially help, especially if the version you have isn't fully compatible with the 5700X3D. If that doesn't work, have you considered reinstalling Windows? Sometimes that can fix deeper software issues after a CPU upgrade. Just make sure to back up your stuff first! Good luck!

I had a similar issue when upgrading my CPU. Try reseating your GPU one more time and ensure you're using the right PCIe slot. If you still get that error, it might be a good idea to test with another GPU if you have one available. It's possible something might have happened during the upgrade process. Don’t give up!
