Hey everyone, I recently upgraded from a 3070 to a 9070 XT and ran into some issues. After uninstalling the Nvidia drivers using DDU in safe mode, I installed the Adrenalin software and drivers before going online. Here's my setup: Windows 11, R5 5600X, 32GB RAM, AS Rock B450M Pro4 motherboard, AS Rock 9070 XT Steel Legend, and an 850W PSU. I connect to a 70-inch 4K TV. The problem is that when I launch any game, I only hear sound for the first 30 seconds, and it's a black screen until then. Quitting the game gives me another long black screen of about 55 seconds before returning to the desktop. I tried adjusting the screen refresh rate in Windows, but it hasn't made a difference. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

It really sounds like you might just need to reinstall Windows. A clean slate often resolves these types of issues.
Have you tried switching cables or ports? Sometimes those can be the issue. Also, it’s worth checking if you have an extra monitor to see if it behaves differently. If everything seems normal and you still face this issue, it might be a leftover Nvidia driver conflict. Rare, but it happens. In that case, a full Windows reinstall might be the ultimate fix.
I recommend doing a Windows repair install or a clean reinstall. Before that, make sure to use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to wipe everything clean and then reinstall the Radeon software. You might also want to clean your Steam shaders folder to help with any potential conflicts.
Is that the shadercache folder in the Steam library?
