Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my GPU from a 3070 to a 5070 OC about two weeks ago, and I've started experiencing some issues. I get random black screens that last 2-3 seconds and then everything goes back to normal. I've already tried reinstalling the drivers using DDU, but I still have the same problem. Right now, I'm using driver version 576.28 since I ran into crashes only in Call of Duty with the latest driver. Does anyone think this could be due to a faulty GPU, or could it just be related to the drivers since I'm not on the latest version? My temps look good, and other games don't crash at all. My setup includes a 5800x, 32GB DDR4 RAM, and an 850W PSU.

That really sounds frustrating! The issues you described seem quite complex. The fact that it only crashes in Call of Duty might indicate some compatibility issues specific to that game and your current drivers. Have you thought about reinstalling the game or checking for patches? Sometimes the problem is more game-centric than hardware.
From what I've seen, this sounds like it could just be a driver issue. When I was researching before I bought my 5060 Ti, it seemed drivers are often the culprit when it comes to black screen problems. You might want to try updating them from the NVIDIA site instead of through the app to see if it makes a difference. Good luck!
I had a similar issue when I upgraded from a 1060 to a 3060. I faced black screens that started only when I enabled some image scaling features. After uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, things would work temporarily, but then it completely stopped recognizing my GPU. I ended up swapping out my PSU, motherboard, RAM, and CPU, and after a clean Windows installation, everything worked perfectly. Just make sure to check your PSU connections and consider running a fresh install if you can!
