I'm trying to set up Windows 11 on my old Razer laptop for a friend who could really use it for gaming. I initially installed Arch Linux on it, but now I want to switch back to Windows. I'm currently using my Debian 12 desktop to help with this process. I first attempted to flash a Windows ISO onto a USB using Balena Etcher, but it seems that didn't work out. After following a guide, I learned the specific drivers required for the installation were mainly for Dell laptops, which doesn't mesh well with my Intel i7 8th generation setup. I've managed to get to the Windows 11 install screen, but I'm stuck on partition selection because of storage driver issues. I recently flashed the right Windows 11 ISO using GNOME Disk Manager, but now it's asking for a driver to recognize the hardware. Any advice on how to proceed?

Balena Etcher usually works fine, but since you're having trouble, you might want to try using Rufus instead. It's a great tool for creating bootable USBs. Just make sure you're able to run it, as I've heard it's primarily for Windows. If Rufus isn't an option on Debian, see if you can find a way to create the USB on a different system.
Does Rufus actually work on Debian? I've only used it on Windows.
