Help! Can’t Connect My Xerox B215 Printer to the PC Over LAN

I'm having some trouble connecting my Xerox B215 printer to my PC. We're a small office with 3 PCs and only one printer. We're using the internet setup provided by our office, and our printer is connected to the same network as the PCs. The printer's IP is 10.0.0.40, while one of the PC's IP is 10.0.0.120. Even though they are on the same network, I can't seem to get them connected. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver, deleting all Xerox-related files, updating Windows, and even disabling my firewall, but nothing works. I did manage to connect one of the PCs directly to the printer with a cable and can share it for printing, but I'm stuck on getting the scanner connected. Does anyone know how to set this up wirelessly using the printer's IP?

There could be a few things causing the issue. Make sure you've set the correct subnet mask on both devices. Sometimes, the firewall on either the PC or the printer might also prevent them from communicating. Try disabling the firewalls temporarily to see if that makes a difference.

Have you tried pinging the printer's IP address? It’s a good way to check if the printer is reachable over the network. If you can't ping it, then there's definitely a connection issue somewhere. Also, double-check that your subnet mask is correct and that there aren’t firewalls blocking the connection.
