Help! Can’t Install Windows on My New SSD

Hey everyone, so here's the deal. My SSD that had Windows on it is completely fried, and now I'm trying to install Windows on a different SSD using a USB drive. The problem is, whenever I go through the installation process, it either just takes me back to the Windows download screen or boots me to the BIOS menu if I don't have the USB plugged in. I've gone through all the boot settings and made sure the new SSD is set to boot first, and I've disconnected the old SSD. I'm really at a loss here and could use any suggestions. Thanks a lot!

What Windows download screen are you seeing exactly? Could use some more details to help you out!

I'll send a screenshot right now.

I can't send pictures unfortunately.

Sounds like you're getting a 'reboot and select proper boot device' error. Have you tried reformatting the USB drive and making sure it's set up correctly? Disconnecting from any Ethernet during the process might help too.

Thanks, I'll try reformatting the USB.

It's a bit tricky without visuals, but it may be worth trying to remake the installation media using the Media Creation Tool on a different computer. That might solve the issue!
