I've picked out some major components for my PC build, including a GPU, CPU, AIO cooler, and RAM. I want to replicate a setup I saw in a video, but I'm concerned about the GPU's size and spacing issues with the bottom intake fans. The person who built the original setup mentioned that the GPU barely fits above the fans due to its unusual positioning on the motherboard. They suggested considering a standard Lian Li O11 Vision case or a different motherboard that places the PCIe slot higher up. Since I'm not very experienced with building PCs, I'd appreciate some advice on which motherboard would work best while keeping my current case, as I think it looks great. Here's the part list I have, including an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and an Asus ROG Astral OC GPU. Any recommendations?

It’s a bit unusual to have RAM costing significantly more than the CPU! But anyway, about your motherboard, you're right to consider another option. Most standard ATX boards typically have the PCIe slot a bit higher up, which could give you better spacing. I’d suggest looking at the Gigabyte motherboards that have the PCIe slot in the first position. They tend to work well with your CPU and should solve those spacing issues with your setup.
You're right; the positioning of the PCIe slot on the original motherboard is pretty rare. If you're mainly focusing on aesthetics, you might not really need the X870/X870E boards; they aren't necessarily better for performance in your case. Check out the ASRock X870E Taichi—it looks good and could fit your needs, but there are also many AM5 boards with better slot placements. Just ensure that it has the features you want and fits well in your case!
I appreciate your advice! I’ll take a closer look at the ASRock model.

Thanks for your input! I did see some Gigabyte options, which could work better.
