I'm in a bit of a pickle trying to decide which GPU to buy. I've just sold my old 3060 12GB and found two options: a used MSI Armor 4070 Super for about 1950 PLN (~$440), which has been used primarily for gaming since late 2024, and a 5070 Ventus X2 OC that was only turned on once as a replacement from MSI. The 5070 costs around 2200 PLN (~$610) but doesn't come with its original box and includes a power adapter from the 5080. There's also a brand new 5070 Zotac Twin Edge available for 2400 PLN (~$600). My specs include an AMD Ryzen 5 5700X CPU, 32GB of mismatched RAM running at 3000MHz, an Endorfy 650W 80+ Gold PSU, a B450 Aorus Elite rev.2 motherboard (PCI Express 3.0), and a 2K 144Hz monitor. Which GPU would you choose, or do you have other recommendations? Thanks in advance for your help!

I'd go with the 4070 Super! It has more CUDA cores than the base 5070, which should really help with your gaming needs. What kind of games do you plan to play?
While the 4070 Super is about 10% slower than the 5070, it’s still a strong contender. Plus, Nvidia will support it longer, which is crucial. I think the 4070 Super is a worthwhile investment for the price difference.
I've been using a 4070 Super for 1440p gaming since launch, and it handles everything smoothly! Don't let the price sway you; I wouldn't pay extra for the 5070 at that cost.
If you're not into AI features and are leaning towards better FPS, go with the 4070 Super! It should give you the performance you need.
If you're not too concerned about features like multi-frame generation, the 4070 Super definitely seems like the better choice, especially since you have a 144Hz monitor. Just be cautious with the Ventus X2 cooler, it might not perform well. Overall, the 4070 Super is a solid pick.
Good point! I’d avoid any cards with poor cooling—it's a big deal if you’re gaming hard.

Mostly games, maybe a little bit of Blender or video editing on the side. Nothing too intense.
