Help Choosing Parts for My New PC Build

Hey everyone! I had a little mishap while cleaning my PC and changing the thermal paste. My dog accidentally knocked over the cooler, bending the pins on my motherboard. Since it's an old setup, I'm looking to upgrade at the end of the year and want to reuse some parts from my current build:

- Power Supply: Corsair HX1200i
- Case: ATX
- GPU: MSI 1080 8GB (but I plan to change this in the future)
- Cooler: Corsair H115i (if it's compatible)
- Storage: One HDD and an NVMe SSD.

I haven't kept up with specs lately, so I'm hoping for your suggestions! I'm mainly looking to buy a motherboard, CPU, and RAM. If my old cooler won't fit, I'll look into getting a new one. My main uses will be gaming and a bit of video making. I have a budget of around 1400€ or even a bit more, as I want something that will last a long time. Keep in mind that I don't plan on changing the GPU right now, but it's in the cards for the future. Thanks a lot!

Since you're in Italy, for 1400 euros, you can actually get a complete setup excluding the GPU. You could buy a solid CPU, like the 9800X3D instead of the 7800X3D. Here’s a solid part list you might like: [https://it.pcpartpicker.com/list/WTQNb2](https://it.pcpartpicker.com/list/WTQNb2)

Yeah, I'm Italian! I was thinking about getting a new GPU with the 'tredicesima' in December.

1400€ just for the CPU, motherboard, and RAM? Seems like a solid plan!

Yeah, right now I'm focused on getting it to start. As long as the other parts work fine, I’ll consider saving a bit. I’ve set a higher budget, but I might not need to spend it all since I'm planning to replace the GPU in January too.
