Help Choosing the Right CPU for My Gaming PC Build

I'm gearing up to build a new gaming PC because my current laptop with a 4GB RTX 3050 just isn't cutting it anymore for the latest games. I'm planning to pair it with a 16GB 5060 Ti that I've found for €460, but I'm stuck on which CPU to choose. I've been looking at the Ryzen 5 9600X, Ryzen 7 8700F, and Ryzen 7 9700X. Also, what kind of power supply wattage should I be considering for this setup? Any advice would be appreciated!

I recommend the Ryzen 7600, it's a great pick, and just use the stock cooler—it works well enough! With the cash you save, consider upgrading your GPU instead.

Honestly, with that GPU price, is it really such a great deal? Just saying, it feels like we've hit an odd spot in the market lately.

I’d suggest going for the most affordable Ryzen 9 or 7 series CPU you can find. Pair it with a 750W power supply, and you should be set for performance.
