Hey everyone! I think my RAM might be failing, and I could really use some advice. I'm looking to upgrade to 32 GB, but I'm not sure if my current setup can handle that. Here are the specs of my build:
- Intel Core i5-4570 CPU
- Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU.
Can anyone suggest the best RAM options for me? Thanks!

If you're set on RAM, just look for any DDR3 sticks you can find. 1600MHz is pretty standard for that generation.

Honestly, upgrading RAM with a CPU like yours isn’t really worth it. The i5-4570 is really old and uses DDR3 memory, while we're on DDR5 now. You'd want something more modern to really benefit from a RAM upgrade.

Your current CPU is definitely holding your GPU back. I recommend looking to upgrade to something like a Ryzen 5 5500 or 5600 which would allow you to use DDR4 RAM. If you have the budget, going for AM5 and DDR5 would be fantastic.

Would a setup with a GeForce RTX 4060, Ryzen 5 7600, and DDR4 RAM work well for me? I'm totally new to building PCs, so I'm just trying to understand!
