I'm trying to switch out my RAM from two sticks of 16GB at 6000MT/s to a new set of two 48GB sticks at the same speed, but my PC won't POST. I'm getting error codes 55, 00, and 7F on my MSI MEG Z690 UNIFY motherboard. I've seated the new RAM, checked that it's correctly installed, and even tried putting the old RAM back in, which works just fine. The new RAM isn't on the QVL list, and I was hoping it would be compatible since it's within the motherboard's specifications according to some online info. Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong?

It sounds like a classic compatibility issue. First, try putting your old RAM sticks back in to get the system stable again. Then, consider updating your BIOS; often, that can help with new hardware compatibility. After that, try the new RAM again. Also, ensure you're using the correct slots as per your motherboard’s manual! It might be a bit of a hassle, but it's worth it.
Thanks for the advice! I’ll definitely try the BIOS update. I noticed the flash menu doesn’t work while connected via DisplayPort, so I had to find an HDMI cable. What a pain!
