Help! Frequent BSODs with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL – What Can I Do?

Hey everyone, I upgraded my PC last month, and since June started, I've been hit with a ton of random BSODs. The error code popping up is 'IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.' I've tried updating my drivers (even installed the one I was missing), scanned the RAM with no problems found, and tinkered with some settings in the console. But it crashed again just an hour ago while I was using it for normal tasks. I took a look at Bluescreenview, but honestly, I'm not sure what to make of it. I read somewhere that it might be due to unauthorized memory usage, but I'm a bit lost on how to troubleshoot this issue without wiping everything clean, as I've heard that could potentially help. By the way, I've uploaded the DMP error files for anyone interested in digging deeper into this: [DMP Files](https://www.mediafire.com/file/o9udi2la0att8bx/BSOD_dmp.zip/file). Any advice would be appreciated!

First off, make sure your BIOS settings are stable. If they are, I would recommend updating your motherboard BIOS to the latest version available. You can find it [here](https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B450-GAMING-PLUS-MAX/support). After that, install the latest AMD Chipset Drivers from [this link](https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/drivers.html/chipsets/am4/b450.html). Only grab the AMD Chipset Driver installer from that page, as others might conflict with your setup. After you've done that, see if the crashes still happen.

Thanks for the tips! The BIOS seems stable, but what if I read about people rolling back to an older version? Should I stick with the latest update, or is there a risk it might not work well? I'm just a bit anxious about causing more problems.

It sounds like you might need to grab those dump files for a proper analysis of the BSODs. If you can get into Windows normally or through Safe Mode, check this path: C:WindowsMinidump for any dump files. If you find some, zip them up and upload them using a file-sharing site like mediafire or catbox.moe. Having multiple dump files is super helpful for identifying the issue. Also, check out this guide on configuring Windows to create minidump files if you don't have any yet: [Guide](https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5560-configure-windows-10-create-minidump-bsod.html).
