Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my PC last month, and since the beginning of June, I've been hit with several random BSODs featuring the error code "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". I've already updated my drivers (there was one missing, but it didn't fix anything), scanned the RAM (no hardware issues), and even messed around with some settings using the PC console. However, my computer still crashed on me just an hour ago while I wasn't doing anything intensive. I tried using Bluescreenview, but I'm not quite sure how to interpret it. I've heard online that it might be related to unauthorized memory usage, but I'm really unsure how to resolve this without wiping everything (which I've heard could potentially help, but I'd rather not take that risk).
Also, I've got a folder with DMP error files if anyone wants to take a look. Thanks for any help!

It sounds like you need to grab those dump files for a better look at what's going on during those BSODs. If you can boot into Windows normally or even Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump directory for any dump files. If you find some, zip the folder and upload it to a file sharing site like Mediafire or Catbox since Reddit can be picky about file links. Having multiple dump files can help pinpoint the issue better! You can also follow this guide to adjust the dump type settings if needed.
First things first, if your BIOS is stable, your next step should be updating it to the latest version (7B86vHN) found on MSI’s support site for your motherboard. Then, make sure you also install the latest AMD Chipset Drivers to avoid any compatibility issues since the wrong drivers can cause crashes. If crashes keep happening after that, we can dig deeper.
I’ve heard people say updating to the latest BIOS isn’t always great if the older one had fewer issues. Should I be cautious in going for the newest version?
Got it, I'll check for those dump files today and upload them. Thanks for the tip on the guide too!
