I accidentally broke off a few small metal solder pieces from my motherboard while working on my PC. I've added a picture that shows the area near the screw for the M.2 slot and above the graphics card. It's a Yeyian Mirage S PC motherboard (Z890 DDR5 WiFi model by Asus). Below the M.2 screw, which shows 2280, you can see the pieces that broke off. I'm really curious about what these pieces are for, considering my PC seems to be running fine with three out of four pieces missing. How easy would it be for a repair shop to fix this?

Those small solder pieces are probably part of the electrical connections for the M.2 slot. If your PC is functioning well with only one piece left, it might be fine for now, but it's best to get it checked out. A local repair shop can re-solder those pieces, but it might depend on their expertise with motherboards. It's a relatively common repair, so don't worry too much!
You might want to consider a DIY approach if you’re comfortable with soldering! It’s not too complicated, especially if you can find a guide or video online. Just make sure to be careful when handling the board!
Definitely, but if you're unsure, better to leave it to the pros! Soldering can be tricky without experience.

Yeah, I agree. Just make sure to find a shop that specializes in motherboard repairs. They’ll have the right tools to fix it up neat!
